E D E N: The Urge (2025)

This piece encapsulates "me" in every way. The patterns, panels, characters… all of it. I wanted to explore humor on a large scale while weaving in some religious elements, something I hadn’t really tackled before. Like how "EDEN: Beyond Fond (Of Her)" focused on love and "EDEN: Yūgen" explored the indescribable depth of existence. "EDEN:The Urge" is about exactly that, the U R G E‼️ The urge to laugh, love, be with family and friends, to pray, to act on the fire inside you. It can be whatever you want it to be. This piece is also a direct sequel to Yūgen, the left center wing of a 9-part series of 38x50-inch works that all connect together (a pic of the first 3 pieces is on the last slide).
