E D E N: If Time Could Stop - 2025

Pen & Ink, Watercolor

20x28 in.

The title of this piece revolves around time, specifically, if we were allowed to pause moments to linger with them longer. As we get older, time seems to go by much faster. "The days are long, but the years are short," as some would say. What better way to showcase these feelings than centering it through the lens of a family? Weeks, months, and even years can fly by pretty fast due to the monotonous nature of our lives at times.

Or "going through the motions," as some say. We often WISH to grow up fast when we're younger, only to find ourselves WISHING for things to slow down when we're older. I figured it'd be cool to make some art about those thoughts and feelings, so here we are. If only time could stop every once in a while.
