E D E N: With Love - 2025

This was the first time I've used Strathmore Series V Bristol Paper (4ply) for a piece, (big shoutout to my main advisor Phoebe for recommending it). It takes a watercolor layer like NO OTHER‼ Big shoutout to Horikoshi as well, had to pay homage to MHA (My Hero Academia).

During the creative process, I was thinking a lot about how I interact with my art. Along with how I reference previous art I created. Not to mention the hands, lots of hands. The artist's hand, a hand preparing to fire a blast (shoutout to Yuta), along with another hand reaching out (or balling up into a fist). I even thought about a conversation my art would have with me (the red texts in the center panel). Being that direct (vulnerable) about my thoughts within a piece is pretty new for me.
